The Dodgy just got done interviewing Caroline Brooks, of the Juno award-winning band the Good Lovelies. The Toronto-based indie/roots/folk trio begins a Christmas tour this week across Canada and Washington with the Vinyl Cafe. The Good Lovelies’ second full-length album Under the Mistletoe (2009) is a Christmas classic filled with original songs and surprising covers like “The Chipmunk Song.” Their most recent album is Good Lovelies Live at Revolution (2012) and Brooks says they’ll be heading back into the studio soon. And look for this interview very soon. It’s a treat. Like really good candy. The best kind.
